Wheel into Falkirk by Motorhome

The Falkirk Wheel

Built to connect the Forth and Clyde Canal to the level of the Union Canal
Historically the two canals had been joined at Falkirk by a flight of locks
These locks had been dismantled in 1933 breaking the link
The rotating boat-lift was built to bridge the differing levels of the Canals

Motorhomers, with ‘Rosslyn Chapel’ also on your doorstep, it is well worth a visit.
