Classifications of Motorhomes: All classifications are based on 4 separate factors: Age, Value, Condition and Extras. Each classification is determined by the vehicle owner. Classification A: 0 - 3 Years ( Value, Condition and Extras Fitted). Classification A: 4 - 6 Years ( Value, Condition and Extras Fitted). Classification A: 7 - 9 Years ( Value, Condition and Extras Fitted). Classification A: Over 10 Years ( Value, Condition and Extras Fitted).

*Insurance company hire restrictions*
All drivers and hirer must be between 25 - 70 years of age.
All drivers must have a valid driving licence for class and weight of vehicle, held for minimum of 12 months, obtained in a EEC Country.
Two speeding offences, or one accident in the last 3 years will be ignored for each driver. All other endorsements/accidents will attract additional charges and must be notified to hiring company prior to the start date of hire.
Drivers with any mental or physical defect or infirmity or suffer from fits, diabetes or any heart complaint, unless agreed beforehand with insurance company.
Persons who have had their insurance cover declined, cancelled or refused or any special terms imposed.
Persons engaged in professional entertainment, professional sports persons, jockeys or persons connected with racing of any sort, undergraduates or students under 25 years of age and Foreign Service Personnel.

Motorhome Weight Restrictions:
Driving Licence Categories: Drivers with Category B on their driving licence are authorised to drive vehicles up to 3500kg (Maximum Authorised Mass) in vehicles with up to 8 passenger seats and a trailer not exceeding 750kg. Drivers with Category C1 are entitled to drive vehicles up to 7500Kg (MAM) and a trailer not exceeding 750kg, and drivers with Category C are entitled to drive vehicles exceeding 3500kg (not Heavy Goods Vehicles unless authorised) and a trailer not exceeding 750kg. It is the responsibility of the Hirer and every Driver to which this document pertains, not to drive this vehicle if they are not allowed to do so under UK Law, DVLA driver authorizations or entitlements to drive. Foreign drivers are authorised to drive vehicles in the UK under the entitlement (weight entitlement) of the Country in which they passed their driving test.

Music Festivals:

All hire vehicles for ALL Music Festivals are subject to 20% surcharge.

This is due to factors affecting such events such as: Higher risk of damage (it is not a campsite that you are visiting where vehicles must be 5m from their neighbour (normal fire regulations in all Counties)- increased Fire Risk and no normal motorhome facilities available (as you would expect on any campsite) such as toilet emptying, none or little water available (for cooking and toilets), and no hook-ups for electricity - once batteries are discharged they can cause severe problems with onboard systems such as electrical output, water maintenance, fridge operation, toilet operation, internal heating, and can cause damage to onboard systems.

Christmas and New Year (19 Dec - 12 Jan): Surcharge:
All hires rates are subject to an increse in Hire Rates Displayed of 20%.
Demand is always high for this period.
This is the only period where we charge a surcharge.
