How much is the excess insurance?
The excess insurance on the comprehensive hire insurance vehicle policy is set by the insurance company at £1000. The hirer must pay the excess insurance amount along with the balance due, 12 weeks before the start date of the hire. The excess amount will always be returned to the hirer on satisfactory completion of the hire, and usually within 7 days.
